Accomplished Workers' Comp and Personal Injury Lawyer

I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, received my undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton in 1978, and my law degree from Vermont Law School in 1981.

I have been in private practice, initially in a general practice handling civil, criminal and all types of trials - both jury and bench.

Approximately 15 years ago I began to focus my practice on workers' compensation. Other positions and experience:

  • First year out of school was a law clerk for the former Presiding Judge of Lehigh County, the Honorable James Diefenderfer.
  • Admitted to practice in Northampton County, Lehigh County, the Federal District Courts for both the Eastern and Middle Districts.
  • Member and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
  • Frequent lecturer on workers' compensation matters for many associations and groups, including the National Business Institute, Pennsylvania T.L.A. and the Northampton County Bar Association.
  • Present and past chair of the Workers' Compensation Committee for the Northampton County Bar Association.

I also have a wide range of civic involvement, including having been on various church finance committees, building committees, giving career day talks at public and Catholic schools and coaching various sports, including cross country, track, and basketball. I live with my wife, Patricia, and four daughters in Lower Nazareth Township.

I look forward to speaking with you to see if I can help you with your legal issue.
